How to connect B2B Wave and Zapier
Log into your B2B Wave Dashboard, click on your username in the screen's top right corner, and select Profile.
Visit the API configuration tab, and copy your Zapier credentials. Keep them ready—we're about to use them.
Sign up to Zapier, or log in if you already have an account. The free plan is enough to get you started, although some integrations, like Salesforce, need a premium one.
Click on My Apps in the left column. Here you'll see all apps connected to your Zapier account.
Select Add Connection from the top right corner, and search for B2B Wave in the popup window. Click on the app's icon.
Zapier will open a new browser window asking if you want to allow Zapier to access your B2B Wave account.
Paste the Zapier Username and Zapier Password you got from the API configuration, and click on Yes, continue.
Go back to the My apps page—B2B Wave should be there now.
To make sure everything worked fine, click on B2B Wave. Then, on the three dots on the right of B2B Wave. Select Test connection, wait for a couple of seconds, and you should get a "Test successful" result.
Important: If the test fails, try again later. It could be a connection issue. If it's still not working, delete the app connection and repeat the process.
Now, connect any other app you need to integrate with B2B Wave. The process is the same. From the My Apps tab, click on Add Connection and pick the service you want to connect. Log into it to provide Zapier with the required permissions.
Let's say you want to automate email marketing.
- You’ll want to connect your platform of choice to Zapier
- Then you'd create a Zap.
- Next, you'll set any new orders on your B2B Wave storefront as a trigger.
- Finally, you'll create two events. One that adds the customer's email to your list and another that sends them a "Thank you for your purchase" note.
And you're set!
